Volunteer and internship opportunities typically require a commitment of at least 8 hours per week for a minimum of four months. These positions are highly competitive and applying does not guarantee placement; applicants will be contacted for an interview if availability arises.

Student volunteer roles may vary in time commitment based on current caseloads and needs. To check availability or inquire about opportunities, please contact us well in advance of your desired start date at regans@scbalas.com, or complete the registration form below by clicking “APPLY”.

Legal Internships & Volunteer Opportunities

SCLA offers volunteer and internship opportunities for undergraduate and law students interested in gaining hands-on legal experience while serving the community. Participants may assist with applicant intake and prescreening, legal research and writing, staff attorney projects, and community outreach events while learning about nonprofit legal aid.

Communications, Marketing & Public Relations Internships

Open to first- and second-year students majoring in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related fields. Interns gain hands-on nonprofit experience by creating communications materials, assisting with social media campaigns, attending outreach events with our team, and helping promote SCLA's services throughout Seminole County.
