UCF students have the opportunity to receive benefits from the CARES Act to assist them with their school related expenses that were affected due to COVID-19. This includes any unexpected expenses that were necessary to compete classes online during the Spring 2020 semester (such as materials and/or technology), rent/housing, food, and more. Eligibility requirements include those who qualified and applied for 2019-2020 FAFSA and receive financial aid. Those who qualified to complete the 2019-2020 FAFSA application, but did not submit it, must submit their application to be deemed eligible. Students must also have been enrolled during the term for which they are seeking assistance. This does include those who are graduating this Spring 2020 Semester. Priority will be given those with mor immediate needs, such as difficulty paying for housing and technology that needed to be purchased for online courses. These applications will be open until May 19th and may take up to a month to process due to high submission volume. Students can apply by visiting the appropriate page by clicking here.
