Timothy is attending a local university and seeking an internship with a technology company. Unfortunately, Timothy keeps being declined for his internship because when completing his internship applications, he indicates that he was convicted of a crime. Many years ago, he was riding in a car with friends and was stopped and arrested when law enforcement found his
friend’s illegal contraband. The charges were dropped but Timothy believed he had to indicate that he was convicted of a crime. Timothy attended our sealing and expungement class and learned how to complete the application and what he needed to do about his arrest record. He feels relieved with the knowledge he acquired at the workshop and looks forward to securing
his internship and his first job.
