Christian Triay has joined us for the summer as our law student intern.  He has completed his first year of law school at Nova Southeastern University.  Christian is busy preparing pleadings, drafting advance directives, conducting legal research, updating the Guardian Advocate Guide with the new changes in the law and observing court hearings conducted by our staff attorneys.  He also had the tremendous opportunity to view a criminal case from jury selection until jury verdict.  Christian has a great work ethic and provides significant legal assistance to our staff and clients.  In addition his pro bono service with our organization, Christian participates in the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative candidacy program and is submitting an article and comment concerning online gambling for publication consideration.  He is pictured above comforting our “homeless cat” that adopted our staff this summer.  We are happy to report we did find a loving permanent home for the cat despite our desire to keep our sweet cat, who was left at our door steps with a collar and an attached bell.
