A presentation on Identity Theft will be made for seniors on May 24, 2018 at 10 am. The location will be at Secret Lake Park community center at 200 N. Lake Triplet Dr., Casselberry 32707

Guest speaker, Theresa Adlam is a Victim Services Program Specialist with the Division of Victim Services and Criminal Justice Programs in the Florida Office of the Attorney General, specializing in the area of Identity Theft.

Ms. Adlam began her career in the field of criminal justice serving as a County Probation Officer soon after completing her bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor degree in Psychology from Florida State University in 1995.  She found her passion for advocacy in 1997 while working as a Victim Advocate for the Ninth Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office, sex crimes, domestic violence and child abuse units.  Ms. Adlam relocated from Orlando to Gainesville Florida in 1999 to accept the Regional Victim Advocate position for her current employer.

Over the last decade, she has appeared on local television programs, as well as the ABC News show “20/20.” She has also enjoyed the opportunity to train and speak throughout the country on the topic of identity theft for the Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), Training and Technical Assistance Center (TTAC) since 2007.
