Endless Dreams Project founded by the Seminole County Legal Aid Society with the assistance of the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association and Community Based Care of Central Florida provide legal advocacy to foster youths attending First Star Academy of Central Florida to help them graduate from high school.  First Star has begun its Summer Academy where college bound foster youth are offered the opportunity to live on the University of Central Florida campus while participating in structured activities and programs designed to improve their academics and opportunity for future college enrollment and success.   Through Florida’s first Legal, Education Partnership (our Endless Dreams project), project attorneys shall meet with students at the University of Central Florida and develop an Individual Learning Plan to address the youth’s current academic position and future graduation requirements, as well any possible education supports necessary for each student’s success.  On July 20, 2017, the Summer Academy will conclude with a graduation honoring each youth’s presence and participation in the program.
